BATTLE OF ATLANTIC
THREAT BY HITLER ADVICE TO ROOSEVELT (Reed. March 1, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 28. A branch of the United States Committee for the Defence of America has sent a cable message to President Roosevelt stating: “Herr Hitler threatens a battle of the Atlantic. The only aid that really counts is by United States naval vessels and aircraft protecting United States and Allied merchantmen.”
