WHISKY IN BRITAIN
SUPPLIES CUT IN HALF NEEDED FOR EXPORT (Reed. March 1, 9 a.m.) LONDON,, Feb. 28. Supplies of whisky in Britain are being reduced next week to 35 per cent of the pre-war amount. They are at present 80 per cent. The chief reason is the need for an increase in exports to acquire foreign exchange.
