DOCTORS’ REFUSAL
STATE SERVICE PLAN SOUTH CANTERBURY VIEW ■ TIMARU, this day. The South Canterbury division of the B.M.A. last night decided that it regretted it could not co-operate with the Government in putting into effect the general practitioner service in its present form. HAWKE'S BAY VIEW “The Hawke’s Bay Division of the British Medical Association unanimously decided not to accept service under the Government’s general practitioner scheme” was the announcement made by Dr. H. H. Barnett, of Napier, president of the division, following a special meeting of medical practitioners to discuss the question.
