VISIT TO RONGOTAI
AIR FORCE STATION GOVERNOR’S INSPECTION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, yesterday paid a formal visit to the Royal New Zealand Air Force station at Rongotai, where there are over 600 trainees at the present time. Attended by Air Commodore H. W. L. Saunders, Sir Cyril Newall was received on the main parade ground by Wing Commander T. W. White, commanding officer at. Rongotai. After a formal inspection of the guard of honour and the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band, Sir Cyril Newall visited all sections of the comprehensive training station.
