PARK DOMAIN LEASE
GOLF CLUB TENURE Following negotiations with the Minister of Lands, the Hon. F. Langstone, the Gisborne Park Golf Club has been informed that the lease of the domain to Messrs. Sceats and Corson was to be completed. This information was conveyed to the Gisborne Borough Council, sitting last night as the Makaraka Domain Board, in a letter from the Minister, who pointed out that leases of domain lands on occasions were granted to golf clubs in cases where the land was available and where other {orms of recreation would not be prejudicially affected thereby.
