AMATEUR SWIMMING

CLUB RECORD BROKEN FLYING SQUADRON RACE The weekly club night of the Gisborne Amateur Surf and Swimming Club was held in the Macrae Baths last night. All the events were keenly contested, a flying squadron race, in which 42 swimmers took part, causing a great deal of interest. Two club championships were decided, the 100yds junior boys’ championship being won by C. McKenzie and the 100yds junior girls’ championship by Miss A.
