WILL REVEALS SECRET
RICH GIRL & COACHMAN The pages of a rambling will, mementos and newspaper cuttings have enabled the authorities at Cambridge, Mass., United States of America, to piece together the story of Mrs. Jennie Ray, aged 87, who was found dead in the cellar of her home, where for years she had lived as a recluse known only as “Mammy Ray.” t It has now been established that she was originally Jennie Tischauer, a New York Society beauty of 70 years ago, who was educated at exclusive schools and presented to Queen Victoria. When she was 18 she cut herself off from her family and married their negro coachman.
She had not left her house for the last 10 years.
