Buffet Dinner Party
Zinnias, hydrangeas and dahlias were artistically arranged by Mrs. H. E. Harris at her home at Hangaroa on Saturday night, when she eptertained a number of friends at a delightful buffet dinner party as a prelude to the annual dance organised by the Wae-renga-o-kuri Sports Club. The hostess was smart in a frock of black cloque worn with a coatee to match accented with touches of silver. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Pettit, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Harris, Mr. and Mrs. W. Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. W. Caseley, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Irwin, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Falkner, Mr. and Mrs. S. Von Pein, Mr. and Mrs. H. 11. Dods, Mifcs J. Irvine: Messrs. A. Nicholls, H. Mattes, £). B. Barry, L. Cooper and N. Bennett.
