MATAWAI NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) An accident occurred on Saturday evening about five miles from Matawai on the Motu Valley road. Mr. George Leslie was returning to Koranga, accompanied by a friend, when his car left the road. Several men who were in the neighbourhood gave assistance. The distinct nurse, Sister Pritchard, was called, and Mr. S. Thompson took Mr. Leslie into the cottage hospital, where it was ascertained that lie had ttvo ribs broken, and abrasions.
