EUCHRE AND DANCING (Herald Correspondent.) A very enjoyable euchre party and dance was held in the Puha Hall last Saturday evening in aid of the hall fund. Mrs. K. Morris and Mr. A. Pilkington supplied the dance music, and Mr. Thompson acted as M.C. Keen interest was taken in the final of the euchre tournament, the winners of the aggregate mazes being Mrs. Tc Kuni To Ua and Mr. Lntta. The winners of the evening's games were Mesdames Te Kuni Te Ua and Spring and Messrs. Latta and R. Robertson. Those present included Mesdames Drummond, Cameron. Te Ua, Spring. Robertson. Greatbatch and Tuhoe; Misses M. Newing. M. Fisher, K. Morris. A. Gibson. N. Coates. J. McKenzie, G. Drummond. J. Cameron, M. Bayley. E., M., and A. Pevreal, M. and J. Newton, and M. Dunshea.

Mrs. J. Graham entertained a number of children at a parly lo celebrate the fourth birthday of her daughter Mary. The dining-room was artistically decorated with spring Towers. A handsomely decorated cake was a centre of attraction. The ehild•on played games and enjoyed a treasure hunl. Mrs. J. Graham received the guests wearing a frock of rust crepe romaine, and her daughter i frock of lemon spotted sheer. The guests included Mesdames Brown, F. Atkins. A. Cameron and M. Graham; and also Phyllis and Olive Peach, Janet Brown, Peggy and Ann Graham, Ray Atkins, and lan, Billy, Peter and John Graham.
