GRASS PREFERRED
HALDANE STREET PATH An objection to a proposal to form and gravel a footpath in Haldane street was lodged in a letter to jthe Gisborne Borough Council last night from Mr. J. S. Main, who pointed out that residents preferred to keep the grass mowed and with a tidy appearance. The Mayor, Mr. D.W. Coleman, M.P., reported that the other residents concerned also preferred to have the path as it was now. The council then agreed to the request contained in the letter.
