FUNERAL TRAGEDY
AIRMAN FOUND SHOT MELBOURNE, Oct.. 4. Flying Officer Keith lan Macdonald, R.A.A.F., was found shot dead this afternoon in a flat still decorated with flowers which had been placed there in readiness for his bride’s arrival. A double-barrelled shotgun was beside him. Mr. Macdonald had returned shortly before from the funeral of his bride, Mrs. Suzanne Evelyn Macdonald, aged 19, who was killed when her husband’s car crashed on the Hume highway, south of Avenal, on Tuesday, eight days after their marriage. They were returning from a het-eymoon trip to Sydney.
