HEADQUARTERS CHANGE MAJOR BREMNER’S POST As a result of the appointment of Lieutenant-Colonel L. Potter, N.Z.S.C., to the command of the Central Field Force, with the temporary rank of colonel, Major D. E. Bremner, M.C., N.Z.S.C., has been appointed general staff officer (first grade) to succeed him at Northern Military District headquarters. Major Bremner ■ has been commandant of the district army school, Narrow Neck, for some time. Another appointment is that of Major W. Murphy, M.C., N.Z.S.C., who has been staff officer in charge of training at Papakura camp, to army headquarters in Wellington. He is being succeeded at Papakura by Captain J. L. Muir, M.C., N.Z.T.S., who has been an officer of the training cadre at Papakura. Lieutenant A. M. Jordan, N.Z.S.C., at present adjutant of the. Auckland (East Coast) Mounted Rifles, has also been appointed to army headquarters, Wellington.
