Romney Breeders’ Loan
It was announced by Mr. E. R.
Black, Gisborne, president of the Romney Marsh Sheep Breeders’ Association, at the Winter Show, in Palmerston North, that the council of the association had decided to lend, free of interest, £IOOO to the Government for tlie duration of the war and six months afterwards. Further, it had been decided to set aside £IOO for patriotic purposes, to be applied as convenient in the coming year.
