Advice was received yesterday by Mr. and Mrs. E, Inness Jones, of Hamilton, that their son, Sergeant-Obser-ver Melville Inness Jones, who is in the Royal Air Force, had been badly wounded and was dangerously ill in the Ipswich Hospital, England. No official advice was received by the parents of the airman whose wife wrote on May 13 that her husband was seriously wounded on active service when a piece of shell passed through 'he plane.
