Mangapapa Card Party

A most successful flag five-hundred party was held in the Scout and Guide Hall, Mangapapa, on Tuesday evening by the members of the Scout Committee. Despite the inclement weather, there were seven tables in play. Mr. and Mrs. Sutcliffe and Mr. and Mrs. Dunstan were the players at the winning table., Mr. Aston won the most flags, Mr. Carter annexed the travelling prize, and Mrs. Ballentyne received another prize. The games were controlled by Mr. Carter, and supper, was served by the ladies of the committee.
