FINE FAMILY RECORD
A family record in sport of outstanding merit is held by the five sons of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Sparrow, who' celebrated their golden wedding at Raetihi on Saturday. They are all footballers, averaging 13 stone in weight. Four havo gained representative honours. Several are, fine wrestlers, one gaining •the New Zealand heavyweight championship title on two occasions. Another is a boxer, who has gained honours in the territorials. Several are also axemen with wins to their credit. One son is a Presbyterian home missionary, and the others are local preachers, Bible class leaders and Sunday school iteachers. All hold offices on iocal organisations.
