APPLES FOR TROOPS
DOMINION FRUIT 5000 CASES TO BE SENT (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Five thousand cases of apples are to be sent to New Zealand troops serving abroad. They will be paid for and sent by the National Patriotic Fund Board. This is one of many uses to which the board is applying funds subscribed by business firms and individual citizens for the welfare of the fighting forces.
