CONTROLLING SPIRAL
WAGES AND PRICES ECONOMIST’S PROPOSALS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 11.30 a.m. RUGBY, Feb. 29. The scheme proposed by the economist, Mr. J. M. Keynes, of deferred pay for controlling the spiral of wages and prices was discussed during a debate in the House of Lords yesterday. Lord Hankey, speaking for the Government, stated that the scheme had been studied, but he was unable to say more than that it had not been re-, jected.
