LIMITING OUTPUT
SPIRITS IN BRITAIN (Reed. Feb. 29, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 28. , The Minister of Food, Mr. W. S. Morrison, announced in the House of Commons to-day that in view of the limited supply of cereals for animal feeding the Government was restricting the output of whisky and other potable spirits in 1940 to one-third of the production in 1939 while the beer output would not exceed that of last year.
