PROMISE OF INQUIRY
LOST SWEDISH CRAFT SUSPECTED RUSSIAN ACT (Reed. Jan. 9, 9 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, Jan. 8. The Swedish Foreign Office has announced that Russia has promised to investigate the sinking of the Swedish steamer Fenris, of- 484 tons, which was reported during the week-end to have been shelled and set on fire by a submarine believed to be Russian.
