ROADSIDE HOARDINGS
The necessity for a restriction on hoardings in residential areas was stressed at a meeting of the Wellington Beautifying Society by Mr. M. Levy, reporting on behalf of a subcommittee. Mr. Levy said that *if there were a small park in a residential area he did not think that the society would agree to hove it plastered over with hoardings. That was an aspect of the hoarding question which should not be overlooked. The report was approved and also ’he idea of holding a national conference.
