WOMEN IN UNIFORM.—At the National Service Rally, held, not long ago in Hyde Park, London, in the presence of Their Majesties the King and Queen, the new uniforms were worn. Reading from left to right, we see those of the Auxiliary Territorial Service, the Royal Naval Service, the Women’s Royal Air Force, the Ambulance Drivers, and the Women’s Land Army. The uniforms were received with great approbation, since every effort had been made to make them as becoming as possible while at the same time satisfying every practical requirement.
