Power Situation
There was no marked change in the power situation in New Zealand, said the general manager of the State Hydro-electric Department (Mr A. E. Davenport) yesterday. He said that a small rise was recorded in the level of Lake Taupo, but the position was probably a temporary one, as there had been no heavy rain. The situation in the South Island was satisfactory.—(P.A.)
