BRADFORD ABSENT FROM WOOL SALES IN SYDNEY
SYDNEY, This Day (Rec 1 p.m.). —The absence of Bradford competition during the auction series which ended at Sydney yesterday was largely responsible for the easing of values on the better quality fleeces. Crossbred and comeback fleeces, which can be used in the manufacture of uniforms, sold strongly throughout, but there was an easing tendency yesterday.
During the series, which was the third of the current selling season, nearly 75,700 bales realised about £8,000,000.
