BELGIAN POLITICAL CRISIS CONTINUING
BRUSSELS, August 13 (Rec. 11 a.m.). —The Catholic Minister of State, Mr Auguste de Schryver today refused to attempt to form a new Belgian Government at the request of 19-year-old Prince Baudouin but Mr Paul van Zeeland, the Foreign Minister in the outgoing Government, later agreed to Prince Baudouin’s request to try to form a new all Catholic Cabinet.
The Government resigned on Friday, as a formality as following the swearing-in of the new ruler.-
