Plunket Shield Teams
A proposal to include a fifth team in the Plunket Shield competition for the next two seasons has been made by the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket.-Council. The fifth team would consist of players from the following minor associations:—Hawke’s Bay, Wairarapa, Taranaki, Southern . Hawke’s ' Bay, Manawatu, Hutt Valley, Rangitikei, and Wanganui. Players, from all these associations are eligible for* the Wellington team. The 'proposal will be considered by delegates to the halfyearly meeting of (the; council next month. ■
