Dr O’Reilly, of the Westland Hospital Board’s staff, will leave tomorrow to take up an appointment at Kingseat, Auckland. Mr F. L. Turley and the Principal, Mi’ W. M. Stewart, were appointed last evening by the Board of Managers of the Greymouth Technical High School, to represent the board at the annual conference of the Technical Education Association at Wellington in September. Mr W. A. Judkins, woodwork master at the Greymouth Technical High School, was last evening appointed first assistant and chief of staff by the Board of Managers. Mr Judkins, who succeeds the late Mr G. G. M. Mitchell, has been a member of the school staff since its formation. The London board of the Port Line Ltd announces that Mr Derek G. Hollebone M.C., at present managing director of Kinsey and Co., Christchurch, will rejoin the Port Line about September or October next. He will spend a few months at the Wellington office, afterwards proceeding to Sydney. Mr Hollebone will succeed Mr Warwick E. C. Gregory M.C., in charge of the Port Line organisation in Australia and New Zealand, when the latter -returns to the United Kingdom to join the head office, towards the middle of 1951.—(P.A.).
