BRITISH WEST INDIES MAY BECOME DOMINION
LONDON, March 10.—A Colonial Office report envisages the formation of a new British Dominion in the West Indies, linking all the colonies there in the British Carribean Federation.
A Federal Legislature is recommended, comprising a GovernorGeneral, a Senate and a House of Assembly. The proposed federation would include Barbadoes, British Guiana, British Honduras, Jamaica, Antigua, St. Kitt’s-Nevis Montserrat, Trinidad, Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, and Dominica.
, Trinidad is suggested as the capital. Bermuda and the Bahamas do not fall within the scope of the report.
