FRIENDS SHOT AS ENEMIES IN MALAYA
SINGAPORE, December 28 (Rec 10.30 a.m.).—One British private was killed and one British officer and another, private were seriously wounded last night in an accidental clash between a patrol of the Green Howards and a patrol of Gurkhas near Mentakab, in Pahang. Both parties thought one another to be guerrillas.
