HOSPITAL ENGINEERS
DUNEDIN, This Day (P.A.).— Some important points had beers gained in an interview with representatives of the Hospital Boards' Association, said the president of the New Zealand Public Hospital Engin- i eers’ Association, Mr Martin Smith, in an address to the opening session of the' annual conference in Dunedin today. - • J He said the engineers at' present employed by their .boards would not have their pobs, status or salary jeopardised. The association, would continue to be recognised and the? annual meetings would continue to receive full support from the Hospital Boards’ Association.
Other points such as qualifications, salary scale and conditions of employment were still under consideration by the Salaries’ Advisory Committee.
