Jugoslav Army Exercises
Reuter’s Belgrade correspondent says that the Jugolsav Army has started autumn manoeuvres, which are believed to be on the biggest scale since the war. The Jugoslav newspaper Borba said that everything was being done to make the manoeuvres realistic. Reports that there were elements of five Soviet divisions near the Jugoslav frontier are flow discounted, though it is agreed that the Soviet autumn manoeuvres in Hungary are on a larger scale than usual—London, September 24.
