Jimmy Durante, as the company’s harassed assistant director on those slim shoulders all the “dirty work” falls, finds himself driven to the breaking point when the crew is augmented by a technical adviser in the person of Peter Lawford. For Law rford, in an attempt to break up the romance between Miss Williams and Montalban, kidnaps the star and holds her prisoner until her resistance melts away.
