ARGENTINE DEMANDS MORE FOR MEAT
LONDON, September 23.—Argentine is demanding about 40 per cent, above the agreed price for meat delivered to Britain between now and the end of the year because of the devaluation of the £, says the Daily Express. The original price of £97 a ton was agreed to last June. A British Treasury official admitted that the demand was being studied in London.
