The fourth and fifth holes were halved, Mrs Hooper winning the sixth with a. bogey s—the seventh was halved in sixes, then Mrs Hooper won the eighth and ninth in bogey figures to make her score two up in her favour. The tenth was won by Mrs Hooper with a bogey.s, making her 3 up—she held this lead by halving the eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth holes and was then in the handy, position of three up with only four holes to play.
