Mr J .Rarity, manager of Garvey’s Creek coal mine, Reefton, has been appointed manager of the Burkes Creek State'coal mine, also at Reefton. The newly-appointed secretary-man-ager of the Inangahua Hospital Board. Mr C. L. Galligan, of Auckland, will take up his new appointment on October 25.
