Passat Beats Pamir
The Finnish barque Passat arrived at Cork today—the first of the two windjammers which are taking part in the traditional grain race from Australia to Britain. The Passat, which was built at Hamburg in 1911, completed the voyage in 110 days. The other windjammer, the Pamir, has not yet been sighted.—London, September 19.
