Middle row: Brbckhoff, Mossop, Shehadie, Windon, Cross. Back of scrpm: Cornforth. One forward is to be omitted. Davis was not available. PREPARINGFOR test ■AUCKLAND, This Day (P.A.).— The New Zealand fifteen selected for the Rugby test against the Australian tourists ,at Eden Park on Saturday had a solid work-out for over two hours this morning. Mr N. A. McKenzie, convener of the selection committee, directed the operations.
. Line-out play was given concentrated attention. J. B. Smjth (captain), lectured the backs on’ counters to the Australian style of play. R. A. Roper, tl}e Taranaki wing threequarter, 'who was a doubtful starter because of pulled muscles, ran extensively and reported fit afterwards. He will-play in the test. The Australian team is expected here at: four o’clock today by plahe from Christchurch.,
