Tansley left this morning on a holiday ,tour of New Zealand. Miss D. McDiarmid left by this morning’s express for Auckland en route to Suva where she will pay a holiday visit to her brother, the Rev. Heaphy, a former member of the club, was passed at the annual meeting of the United Lawn Tennis Club last night. Mr M. L. McGlashan, son of -Mr and Mrs L. D. McGlashan, Greymouth, who is a lecturer in physical chemistry a«. Canterbury University College and winner of the Sims Empire Scholarship, will leave this evening for Reading University, England, where he will continue his studies of thermodynamics under Professor E.
