RELIEF FOR N.S.W. FLOOD VICTIMS
SYDNEY, This Day (Rec 11 a.m.). —Hundreds of people are queuing to receive food and clothing in flood-de-vastated Kempsey. No typhoid has yet been reported and the water service has been partially restored. Planes are still dropping food to stranded families.
The railway damage is greater than expected and will take two weeks to repair.
