[SPECIAL REPORTER] ASHBURTON, This Day|— With two hookers injured, the third hooker to join the West Coast Rugby touring team, D. McKendry, lasted only a quar- • ter of an hour in the Dunedin match on Saturday. McKendry, who travelled over 300 miles to-reinforce the side, fractured a rib after less than a quarter of an hour’s play and is now unable to play again on the tour. Despite the fact that he is suffering from torn shoulder muscles, Fisher replaced McKendry, who had almost monopolised the scrums until he was injured. There are now seven members of the team op the injured list.
