Time, 1.17 2-5, Epsom Boy Unplaced At Rosehill Meeting SYDNEY, August 21.—The New Zealand three-year-old Epsom Boy finished only ninth in the Wilberforce Three-year-old Handicap at Rosehill, but is still likely to be trained for the Epsom Handicap. The trainer, Hector Gray, strongly criticised G. Moore’s riding of Epsom Boy, considering the horse was “new” ana carried 9.6. Moore said that the gelding pulled hard early and could not be held. He drops to 7.9 in the Epsom.
