Officers Of Plunket Society Visit Coast
In connection with an application made by the Reefton branch of the society for the provision of a district nurse, Dr Helen Deem, medical adviser to the New Zealand Plunket Society, and Miss S. Lusk, nursing adviser to the society’s council, of Wellington, paid visits to centres on the West Coast this week. Dr Deem and Miss Lusk visited Westport and Reefton on Wednesday where they met members of the local branches and discussed the matter. They met the executive committee of the Greymouth branch yesterday and also visited Hokitika. Dr Deem and Miss Lusk letf by this morning’s express for Christchurch, on their return to Wellington.
