OBITUARY Mr Thomas Battensby
The death occurred at Greymouth yesterday after a brief illness of Mr Thomas' Battensby. aged 57 years, of Doyle street, Blaketown. Born in County Durham, England, he came to New Zealand and settled at Greymeuth 21 years ago. He worked in the Dobson colliery for 11 years, and for the past 10 years was employed bv the Greymouth Borough Council Mr- Battensby was a member of the Bufiaio Lodge, and was treasurer of Harbour Lodge No. 73, Greymouth. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Margaret Battensby, ’ two brothers, and two sisters in England. The funeral will leave the residence on Saturday afternoon for the Karoro Cemetery.
