Duel “Called Off”
The duel that the former Argentine Foreign Minister (Dr Juan Bramuglia) was to have fought with Dr Jeronimo Remorino, the Argentine Ambassador to the United States, has been called off Dr Bramuglia’s seconds Said that Dr Bramuglia frankly could not remember What he was supposed to have said to Dr Remorino that was ground for a duel. They added that since no insult could possibly have been intended the expressions considered offensive were therefore withdrawn and honour was satisfied.—Buenos Aires, August 15.
