A motion of sympathy with the relatives of Miss Mary Mulcare, of Ngahere, was passed by the Board of Control of the West Coast Rugby League at its weekly meeting last night. The National Party’s candidate' for Avon seat at the general election will br Mr G. N. Kinzett, of Christchurch. He is a businessman, aged 33. He was successful in the selection ballot last evening.
