Radio In Police Cars
The efficiency of the Wellington police patrol system has been stepped up to such a 'degree that it is now possible to seal off all outlets and approaches to the city within two or three minutes. This has been made possible by a three-way radio system between patrol cars and the central police station. Since these radios were first used about three weeks. ago at least two good catches have been made by the police. Detection' cars equipped with the new three-way radio can coihrriunicate with the central station, can receive messages, and can communicate with each other.-— (P.A.).
