Splicing The Main-brace
VENICE, May 22 (Rec. 2 p.m.).— Princess Margaret today spoke to her father over the radio-telephone on the British battleship Vanguard, which she visited to attend divine service and lunch with the officers. The Princess obtained permission from the King to splice the mainbrace —for a double ration of.rum to be issued to the Vanguard’s crew.
