Education Facilities In The Chathams
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Tffiis Day. The possibility of establishing a consolidated school, in conjunction with a district high school, in the Chatham Islands, is being investigated by officers of his department, said the Minister of Education, Mr McCombs, today. Mr McCombs, who has just returned from a visit to the islands, said he was very impressed with the reading system laid down on the Chathams by the Public Works Department.
