Tractor Driver Killed In Manawatu District
(P.A.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. A fatal accident occurred on the Mangarere road between Rangiwahia and Mangaweka at 11.30 a.m., yesterday, the victim being William Gray Hodge, aged 17, a tractor driver of Rangiwahia. He was employed by the Kiwitea County Council and was driving the tractor pulling a grader along the road. The mishap .occurred when Hodge was turning the tractor round on a bend. The machine went over a bank, and Hodge died later in the day as a result of his injuries.
